For Teams Ready to Think Differently
Green Tape Company runs Innovation Labs that give organizations permission to play, test ideas, and build creative confidence. All within a structured two-hour session.

Why Green Tape Company Exists
There wasn't one dramatic 'aha' moment. It was a pattern I couldn't ignore. Over and over, I found myself in rooms with smart, capable people who were frustrated. Not because they lacked ideas, but because the systems around them made creativity feel risky, slow, or outright discouraged. The best thinking happened in side conversations, informal brainstorms, and small group problem-solving sessions that were far more effective than the formal processes we were supposed to follow.
I kept hearing the same feedback: 'I wish we had more time like this,' or 'Why don't we work this way more often?' That's when it clicked. What I was doing, creating conditions where people felt safe to think differently, didn't need to live in the margins of my job. It needed its own home.
The Green Tape Company is my way of building those spaces intentionally. Places where teams can move faster, think differently, and finally give themselves permission to play.
The Approach
Every lab is designed around three principles that came from years of watching what actually works and what falls flat.
- 01
Intimacy Creates Impact
Fifteen people or fewer. When sessions get too big, people perform instead of participate. The loudest voices take over. The safest ideas win. Small groups create enough tension and diversity of thought without losing psychological safety. Everyone is seen, heard, and expected to contribute.
- 02
The Two-Hour Sweet Spot
Long enough to move out of autopilot, get uncomfortable, and build something meaningful. Short enough to fit into real work without becoming another draining commitment. People leave energized, not exhausted.
- 03
Permission to Play
Labs invite people to step out of autopilot and into something rare in today's workplace: freedom to experiment, test ideas without judgment, and rediscover their creative edge. The structure makes it easy to jump in, even for people who don't consider themselves 'creative.'
Background
I've spent more than a decade in customer experience, sales performance, and strategic growth roles, building a reputation for connecting strategy, execution, and customer focus in ways that actually move the needle. I'm known as the person teams call when things feel stuck. The one who cuts through the red tape and paints it green by reframing problems and creating space for fresh ideas to take shape.
I hold certificates in Design Thinking and Designing Business from IDEO-U, and I blend design thinking, risk analysis, and practical innovation to help professionals become more creatively confident. I believe the best teachers are always the best students, which is why I continue to invest in my own learning in the same spaces I lead.
The Vision
Richmond is the starting point, not the ceiling. In the next two to three years, I see Green Tape Company becoming a trusted innovation partner for organizations that want more than surface-level training. The kind of partner leaders and teams think of when they're stuck, scaling, or trying to shift culture without burning people out.
The model is designed to travel. Green Tape will expand into other cities, work across industries, and offer both in-person and virtual labs. The lab catalog will become a signature way companies invest in their people, not as a one-off workshop, but as an ongoing innovation practice. Long-term, Green Tape becomes less about geography and more about a mindset that organizations adopt wherever they are.
